Well to me atleast. Hey no comments some the peanut gallary. Note the comment option disabled. Don't push me cause I'm close to the wedge. Yeah I had to write and what? Smooches.

The British Are Coming

Does anyone miss the days of the Electric Eighties? Most of all, I miss the Rick Ashleys, Swingout Sisters and Basias of the world. So I have decided to dedicate my daily trips to and from work, in the month of March, to Brilliant British Artists. Let the tribute begin. Smooches.

Confessions of a Dior Addict

Being the faithful follower and avid collector of Dior trinkets that I am I have to admit I was in shock that I had not heard nor seen anything about the new beauty on the market. During my normal mid-afternoon Ebay browsing, I decided to search for Dior glosses. That was when I saw her. I nearly lost my lunch. How could this be? At first, I had to talk myself down. Thinking that only the Euro dames get to have this bauble all to them selves. At that point, I threw the expected tantrum and decided that I must have it *swallow* no matter the cost. I vowed long ago, never to let another desirable Dior goodie slip threw my well-manicured hands again. Called old, reliable: Sephora and of course they had it...for $70 BUCKS. I could not believe what I was hearing. Could it be one of my possible darlings was never gonna make itself at home among the many others that I have claimed? Le sigh! I said this one I will have to pass on. Out of sight out of mind, right? Until I happened to stop by Bloomie's to grab a bottle of Chanel nail polish in Vamp. SA told me they were out but to try the Dior counter if I am in need of a dark hue. I was like okay. What are chances that Bloomie's would have it and, if so, I must be strong and realize $70 is not worth it for lip gloss that I can wear on my wrist. I walk up to the counter, start to inquire about a dark shade of polish and there she was...all polished and glistening. Okay I say to myself. Get yourself together. You can do this. But the Dior demon popped up from out of nowhere and took a seat right on my shoulder popcorn, ready in hand. Is this reality I thought. All it did was utter four simple, little words: just try it on. So I obliged it. Just to "prove" that I could just walk away. Awww...heck once it hit my wrist I was done for. I glided to the checkout counter and yanked out my debit card. It wasn't me I tell ya…It was the one-armed man making the purchase. To this day, I will always say it wasn't me. That is my story and I am sticking to it. Heck what do you want from me? I have a problem and I refuse to seek help for my condition. Smooches.

God Don't Like Ugg-ly?

I am praying my heavenly Father will over look this. Yep...I finally broke. I..well..my hubby bought me some uggs(which stands for ugly according to research). In the color pink that I have been feening for. And I have been pushing them mugs or should I say uggs(lol) all weekend. I love them. So comfy and cozy. Guess what? My feet don't overheat. Which is brilliant. You know how a Glamourette is about heat. That is why I don't cook. Smooches.

Here, Kitty Kitty

Ok...let me begin by saying that one of my best friends not I is the Hello Kitty fanatic. However Hello Kitty Party Pals for Gameboy Advance is addictive. So addictive, that a dear friend of my hubby and I started to feen just playing the copy that I have. She mentions during her obssesive rave that she has to have it. I start to tell her be blessed attempting to locate it because it has been discontinued. Now a true giver would just say let her have the copy I currently have. The Devil is a liar. Then it hit me. I had an extra copy due to the fact that my fashion soul sister(the Hello Kitty feener) had already bought it. I was blessed not only with the task of giving her another game( Mario and Luigi : Partners in Time) but I had to return the HK. Bummer. In mid sentence, I got up like I was in a trance. My husband and her were like what is up. I would not answer them when they kept asking what was wrong. I was on a mission to locate the game to give to her. Yeah I could have had 20 bucks back in my pocket , but the look on her face. The unxpected look one has when they were not expecting to have their wish granted so quickly. She was using the scripture to it's fullest extent. Ask and she shall receice. And hey God loveths a cheerful giver. Smooches.

Dear Mr, Jesus

I am so miffed that I missed them at Hard Rock...here...in ORLANDO!!!! WAH!!!! Anyway, I listen in the car, at my job, in my dreams. I love them. However, their lyrics...well let us pray for them. If I had a Christmas list, I would be checking it twice. They are very naughty boys. Smooches.

Koo Koo for Cocoa

So my lips need a lil holiday cheer. So during my normal browsing of the internet, I discovered Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Gloss in Cocoa Sugar. It actually has flicks of gold. Yep. I said gold. I am not saying I'm a gold digger (insert Kanye West's joint);however, just looks like I eat Millionaires for lunch. Smooches.

Le Eye of Le Tigre

So I am obsessed with polos: Ralph, Lacoste ,Le Tigre. Le Tigre..le sigh. I have been on a major hunt for a Le Tigre polo ever since I gazed upon my reality star equal, Lo from Laguna Beach sporting one in solid Black. I had one already but it was white with a green collar. Love it; however, with a rack like mine...had to lose the white. Now I should have learned my lesson the when I see something in the store that I have been searching for...I need to buy it for crying out loud. But I let not one but two Le Tigre polos pass me by all the while letting the year round preppy green LT polo sit in the clearance aisle week after week after week. Finally I broke or more like snapped. And yes, my faithful readers, I am wearing it as I type this. Looks great with the Earl jeans that according Stacey London from TLC's What Not To Wear are not right for my body type. Yes I vowed to toss them post her visit to O's show but come on...they are Earls. Smooches.

Lucky Charm

So I tried my best, I repeat, my best NOT to purchase the Dior Diorplay Swarvoski encrusted darling. Since it was not in the color I wanted, I just didn't need it. Then fashion reality hit: Who cares if it is in beige...not like I bought it for it's lip color anyway. I did do an honorable thing and cancel my preorder for the Chanel shimmer and matching brush. I only have eyes for the bejeweled...bedazzled. Smooches

Now I'm Playing with Power

Finally I am stepping into the 90's: Got a Gameboy SP. New backlighting and all. Now just to head out and buy some girly games..tee hee hee. Smooches.

A Charmed Life

Tee hee hee! Who could possibly say no to a YSL charm bracelet aka Multi-Usage Palette? Especially with makeup attached. I had to jump on that mug since it carried the weighted words..."Limited Edition". Didn't help much that the SA said that there was only one left. Oh come on. It is not like I had a choice in the matter. I mean just look at her. In all her splendid glam glory. Yes, my lovely wrist, you will be graced with her presence soon. Smooches.

Move Over, Kristie Alley

So Saturday, I was just telling one of my best friends that I was just gonna settle for being at 140-145, weight that is. She was like, "Dee, you are so close why stop now if your initial goal weight was 135?" I just gave her the look as if to say...if you only knew. Let me be the first to tell you that I just knew since I have been hitting and missing on Weight Watchers lately that I just knew that I had ballooned up to 150-155. WRONG!!!!! Walked in Publix, where the "SCALE" awaits you as you walk in. My husband of course NEVER heistates to jump on it. I was like let me go first...let me get this over with. OMG!!! 144??? NO WAY!!! I am so proud of myself...so proud. See I realized that WW is not a DIET. It is a lifestyle. And one that I am committed to. Also realize that it is slowly pouring off due to my 15 minutes a day on the treadmill. And guess what? I am alright with that. 10lbs shy of my goal weight. You've come a long way, baby. Smooches.
